Welcome to the Santa Cruz County Science and Engineering Fair!
Dear Science & Engineering Fair Judge:
Please create an account or login to an account you've already created (if you see your name in the menu at the top right, you are already logged in). The menu dropdown from your name on your upper right screen lets you access your Profile, under which is a Judges tab, where you can set or update your category preferences. For returning judges, updating your category preferences helps us recognize your participation for this year, and not simply assume that you are continuing from last year.
We hope for your flexibility in these categories, as we balance the numbers of students and judges. The Additional Information text box on your Judges tab is there to indicate your flexibility (e.g. Any life or environmental science) and any conflicts of interest you may have (child or student in a specific category).
The Santa Cruz County Office of Education would like to thank you and welcome you to the Santa Cruz Science & Engineering Fair. Please note that the Santa Cruz Science & Engineering Fair is Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Judges may preview projects from March 1st to March 13th using this website. Please see the Judges Guide linked below for more detailed information.
Science Fair Judges Guide
Interviews and Judging:
- All interviews and judging will be conducted remotely on March 13th starting at 9 am
- Final deliberations follow lunch. Most judges complete their duties by mid-afternoon. However, all judging closes at 5:00 p.m.
We appreciate your contribution and want to thank you for your commitment as a science fair judge. Please encourage your colleagues to join us. Please contact us if you need more information.
Sincerely,
Jennifer McRae, Science & Engineering Fair Director
